The Inventory Cycle Count Specialist - Materials Management will perform daily work assignments accurately, in a timely and safe manner. The position will have sound technical aptitude and perform multiple projects at a time. • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inventory control including the scheduling and review of the cycle count and physical inventory programs.
• Work in and communicate with both office and plant environments equally well.
• Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock including identifying, investigating, and correcting inventory discrepancies.
• Identify and improve internal processes to drive reduction in inventory discrepancies.
• Recognize deviations from standard procedure.
• Assist with root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct cycle and physical counting of all material assigned.
• Develop and/or support the development of departmental SOPs.The candidate:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 - 2+ years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Prior computerized inventory management system/MRP experience preferred
  • Prior experience operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) preferred
  • Prior cGMP experience preferred
