of responsibility.Position Overview:As a Data Analyst focusing on
Continuous Improvement in manufacturing settings, you will be an
essential part of our team, working hands-on to drive operational
excellence through statistical analysis and process improvements.
This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual eager
to immerse themselves in the manufacturing environment,
collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities
for enhancement.Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Validation:Collect, clean, and validate
manufacturing data (e.g., OEE, scrap, etc.) from various sources,
ensuring accuracy and reliability.Collaborate with frontline staff
to ensure data integrity and gather insights from the shop
floor.
- Statistical Analysis:Apply statistical methods (e.g.,
Regression, ANOVA, DOE, etc.) to analyze manufacturing data,
including production metrics, quality control data, and equipment
performance.Generate actionable insights to support decision-making
and continuous improvement initiatives.Participate in continuous
improvement projects, employing statistical tools and methodologies
to identify areas for optimization.Collaborate with manufacturing
teams to implement data-driven solutions and monitor their
impact.
- Hands-On Engagement:Spend time on the manufacturing floor to
gain a practical understanding of processes, challenges, and
opportunities for improvement.Work closely with production teams,
demonstrating a willingness to get involved and understand the
intricacies of manufacturing operations.
- Reporting and Documentation:Develop clear and concise reports
and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators and
improvement progress.Document methodologies, findings, and
recommendations for future reference and knowledge
sharing.Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science,
Statistics, Industrial Engineering)
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Power BI or
Python
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis and a keen interest
in applying statistical methods to real-world manufacturing
challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work
collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic manufacturing
environment.
- Data modeling experience is a plus.Personal Attributes:
