A law firm based in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Senior Employment and Litigation Associate Attorney or Partner with a robust background in employment law and business litigation. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to navigate complex legal issues, represent clients effectively, and contribute to the firm's growth in a collaborative and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal counsel on various employment matters, including compliance, employee relations, and workplace policies.
• Represent clients in employment litigation, managing cases from initial filings through to resolution in court and before administrative agencies.
• Draft, review, and update employee handbooks, policies, and other organizational documents to ensure compliance with current laws and best practices.
• Handle intricate commercial litigation, demonstrating a keen ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare well-structured written materials, including briefs and motions.
• Exhibit strong oral advocacy skills in court proceedings and negotiations, effectively representing client interests.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to provide tailored solutions while managing cases with minimal oversight.Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in employment counseling and litigation, as well as business litigation.
  • Proven track record of handling employment cases and proceedings in both court settings and administrative venues.
  • Strong capabilities in drafting legal documents and conducting comprehensive legal research.Skills
