Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at TouchPoint - St. Anne Place. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food and serving customers at the grill station in accordance with our high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation, completing orders from steam tables and serving customers at multiple stations.
  
• Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
  
• Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service, responsible for records from the area worked during service periods.
  
• Prepares food according to approved recipes and production standards, ensuring proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
  
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with established safety standards.
  
• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
  
• Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information and concerns to the supervisor.
  
• Attends in-service and safety meetings, maintaining good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
  
  
  Requirements
  
  Previous cooking and short-order cook experience in a cafe/bistro venue is required. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a clean and safe work area, and provide excellent customer service.
