Job Description:

Fine dining restaurant in downtown Chicago hotel seeks talented Executive Chef to join our team.Collaborate on restaurant concept, create menus and recipes, and ensure kitchen setup for success daily.Responsibilities:

  • Create dynamic, on-brand menus and monitor profitability.
  • Highlight seasonal ingredients with "specials" and verify shipments and invoices.
  • Oversee product quality from delivery to guest table and maintain kitchen flow.
  • Hire, train, and motivate staff, developing talent pool.
  • Hold staff accountable, keep General Manager involved, and ensure technical proficiency in food production.
  • Schedule employees and monitor overtime, reviewing payroll reports with General Manager.Requirements:
    • Culinary training or equivalent experience preferred.
    • 5+ years in management required.
    • Ability to be a hands-on leader, support team, and prioritize time and strategy.
    • Effective communication in fast-paced environment necessary.Why Work With Us:
