--- The ServiceNow Administrator / Developer will play a primary
role in the management and oversight of KEs ServiceNow environments
by providing Development, Integration, Maintenance and Operations
skills. This position will bring ServiceNow System Development and
Systems Administration skills, including experience developing,
integrating and administering a ServiceNow ITSM solution in a
cloud-based environment. This position requires a breadth of
technical knowledge and experience as well as excellent customer
service, task ownership, multi-tasking and team communications
skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
--- Track, prioritize, and implement enhancement requests and
defect corrections, while leveraging formal Change Management
processes
--- bility to respond to and support resolution of issues affecting
users or applications, including server, laptop, mobile device,
application, and telecommunications issues
--- Work with client team members thru discovery, solution
development, and solution implementation of various ServiceNow
offerings
--- ssist in troubleshooting patch / release management issues
--- Capable of supporting user productivity by working closely to
help find solutions
--- Maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA) and monitor SLA
workflows
--- Create and use update sets to move configurations between
systems.
--- Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow
platform.
--- Maintain the integrity of the ServiceNow platform across
production and non-production instances.
--- Perform installation and testing of updates and new
releases
--- ssist in troubleshooting patch / release management issues.
--- Build reports, gauges, and home pages.
Qualifications
--- minimum of 5 years of ServiceNow and custom implementation /
administration, and a minimum of 2 years working in a project team
environment as developer
--- Excellent ServiceNow HI Portal user and administration
experience; demonstrated ability to work with ServiceNow on issue
resolution.
--- Extensive Troubleshooting experience with the ability to
provide on-going production support of these applications
--- Experience in designing and implementing client scripts,
business rules, workflows, and otherwise configure or modify
applications to meet business requirements
--- Fundamental knowledge of identifying application opportunities,
prioritize needs, configure / test / deploy solutions
--- Developed skills and experience in supporting the
configuration, development & training of custom applications
--- Established expertise in end user support and monitoring of
ServiceNow requests and issue resolution
--- SQL Server administration experience preferred
Preferred Skills
--- Certified ServiceNow Administrator (Implementation Specialist
Certification a plus).
--- Hands on experience in ensuring compliance with highly
regulated industry requirements.
--- Experience in implementing ServiceNow processes and
functions.
--- Experience in Java, JavaScript, Web Services, AJAX, XML.
--- Manage several tasks like screen customization, workflow
management, report setting, data imports, integration, scripting,
third-party software integrations, and customized application
development
--- Update and maintain a robust testing strategy for ServiceNow
instance upgrades, to certify all apps for use following the
update.
--- Coordinate and resolve technical data and transformation
challenges that are challenging.
--- Create, manage, and run reports to meet system performance
targets.
--- Keep track of the system's design and operation by documenting
it.
